Equestrian Fencing Types
Post & Rail Fencing
Post & Rail is the most traditional method of fencing for horses. It provides excellent strength and great visibility for the animals within it. For practicality and aesthetics, four rails is a popular choice. However you can chose to have more or less. 1.35m tall is commonly used for keeping a horse in but this can be specified taller or shorter to suit your animals needs. Horse netting, plain, barb or electric wire can be incorporated within the fence to help stop horse rubbing or dogs getting through it.
Equestrian Netting
A versatile, more cost effective way of keeping your horses in. The netting is specially designed to help stop horses getting there feet through the fence. The netting can be specified to have as little as 50mm between the vertical wires. Its small spacings also helping to keep dogs or other small animals in or out the field. Different heights of this netting are available to suit different uses and budgets. This product is very strong and can withstand the daily pressures of containing horses.
It is recommend that either plain, barbed or electric wire is installed on top of the fence to prevent the horses leaning over it.
Electric Fencing
A low cost, effective way of keeping in your horses. Perhaps you want to divide up a large area into smaller paddocks. Why go to all the expense of other kinds of major fencing. Using permanent electric fencing is a great way of separating your paddocks for considerably less cost. Different types of electric wire and the number of strands can be specified to make the fence fit your individual needs.
Field Gates
We offer a wider range of field gates and gate posts. We do everything from square timber gate posts to concrete gate posts. We also offer both wooden and metal field gates.
